_You are invited to The Flight 19 Memorial Ceremony

The ceremony will take place this coming Monday, December 5, rain or shine. It will commence at 1:30 pm. The Memorial Ceremony is open to the public. It takes place at the small "Navy Park", which is located on the east side of the FAA control tower of the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (Federal Aviation Administration area) by Lee Wagener Blvd.

There is a sculpture with the propeller from an Avenger plane on it. Also, you will be able to see the tents and people in the grassy area once you are by the tower. Hope to see you there!

The Naval Air Station Fort Lauderdale Museum is having an Open House this coming Sunday, December 4 from 12 to 5pm. Come visit the Museum, meet people and check out our progress! 
  • Open to the Public.
  • We will have refreshments and finger foods, but you are welcomed to contribute a warm dish or desert. It is much appreciated.
  • Our last Open House was a great success, lots of people came to visit, and this year it should be fun as well.
