For more than a decade the Museum kept a storage area at the airport fringe, and the massive collections are disorganized in the extreme. They contain not only WWII manuscripts, articles, magazines, photos, objects and realia of every stripe, that an archivist can describe how opening each box of this legacy is "an adventure in itself. We're currently in the process of retrieving, cataloging and curating these findings---- because unfortunately, the airport storage area is scheduled to be demolished this year to make way for the Airport's new south runway.
